1. Introduction

· These Terms and Conditions govern the Gift Voucher program offered by Rennies Travel Pty Ltd trading as Rennies BCD Travel ("Rennies"), a South Africa-based travel management company - Registration number: 1999/020221/07. Rennies Travel Experience Gift Vouchers allow customers to purchase a gift voucher to be used towards travel arrangements and redeem it at a later date within a specified period.

2. Eligibility

· Rennies Travel Experience Gift Vouchers program is available to all individuals who are 18 years or older and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under South African law.

3. Gift Voucher Mechanism

· 3.1 Voucher Purchase: Customers can purchase gift vouchers for future travel with Rennies. Vouchers can be purchased in increments starting from R500 ZAR.

· 3.2 Voucher Redemption: Vouchers can be redeemed towards any travel package offered by Rennies. The voucher value must be redeemed within 365 days from the date of the first voucher purchase.

· 3.3 Expiry: Vouchers that are not redeemed within 365 days will expire, and no refunds or credits will be issued.

· 3.4 Non-Interest Bearing: The funds associated with the gift vouchers are non-interest bearing and will not accrue any interest for the customer.

4. Regulatory Compliance

· 4.1 Consumer Protection Act: The Rennies Travel Experience Gift Voucher program is designed in compliance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA). Customers have the right to a full refund within 5 business days of purchasing a voucher if they change their mind, in accordance with Section 17 of the CPA.

· 4.2 Voucher Transferability: Vouchers are transferable, and customers may gift them to another individual. However, once a voucher is redeemed or partially redeemed, it becomes non-transferable.

5. Modification and Cancellation

· 5.1 Modifications: Customers may request modifications to their travel plans subject to availability and potential additional costs. Requests must be made at least 30 days before the intended travel date.

· 5.2 Cancellation by Customer: Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refunds are only available as per the CPA regulations or within the initial 5-day cooling-off period. After this period, vouchers are non-refundable.

· 5.3 Cancellation by Rennies: Rennies reserves the right to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances or non-compliance with payment terms. In such cases, a full refund or alternative travel arrangements will be provided.

6. Travel Documentation and Responsibilities

· Customers are responsible for ensuring they have all necessary travel documents, including valid

passports, visas, and any other required documentation. Rennies is not liable for any travel disruptions due to incomplete or incorrect documentation.

7. Liability and Insurance

· 7.1 Travel Insurance: Customers are encouraged to purchase travel insurance to cover potential risks such as trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and lost luggage. Rennies can assist with obtaining travel insurance.

· 7.2 Limitation of Liability: Rennies is not liable for any losses, damages, or injuries that occur during the travel period unless directly caused by the gross negligence of Rennies.

8. Refunds and Credits

· 8.1 Refunds: Refunds are only available within the cooling-off period as stipulated by the CPA. No refunds will be provided for vouchers that have expired or have been partially redeemed.

· 8.2 Travel Credits: In the event of force majeure or other extraordinary circumstances, Rennies may offer travel credits as an alternative to refunds. These credits must be used within the original 365-day validity period of the voucher.

9. Dispute Resolution

· Any disputes arising from the Rennies Travel Experience Gift Voucher program will be resolved through mediation or arbitration in accordance with South African law. Customers agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting Rennies.

10. Governing Law

· These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any legal proceedings related to the Rennies Travel Experience Gift Voucher program must be initiated in the courts of South Africa.

11. Acceptance of Terms

· By purchasing a Rennies Travel Experience Gift Voucher, customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions

12. Automatic Opt-In

· By purchasing a Rennies Travel Experience Gift Voucher customers will automatically opt in to marketing communications, through electronic direct mailers to the email addresses provided at the time of sign-up.
